The other week, I presented at App Promotion Summit in NYC on how to test and optimize your onboarding funnel.
I tried something different. I didn’t have any slides!
I put together this large Whimsical board of how onboarding flows for different apps have evolved over time.
It’s a pretty cool way to see what tests worked and what didn’t.

I vastly overestimated how much content I could get through, so unfortunately, I wasn’t able to cover all of this in the video.
I do have annotations throughout the board that share all my thinking.
I’m going to create more content based on all this research, so look for this in the future.
